The birth of an idea
(US-Patent US20240086167A1, pending )
I was driving through Argentina in 2018, unhappy with the course my life had taken prior
to the great road trip from Iguazu to Ushuaia.
My goal was to find out what to do with my life, how to proceed, what destination to aim
for. And then somewhere on the vast endless steppe of La Pampa, trying to gain inspiration
from the majestic landscape around me, it came to me, like a meteor plunging through ancient
skies, changing my life instantly and forever. I must admit that whoever reads this description
must think that it is an overdramatic representation. But I still believe it is quite fitting
in a figurative sense, simply because my life was not the same after this brainstorm.
I had developed a burnout syndrome, years earlier, which let me to look for purpose,
for direction, something greater than life, something that would be the center of my
attention. And I found it, or it found me, or we found each other.
AI systems were at an early stage of development during this time. There were no sophisticated
LLMs, most systems where designed to realize a particular AI-related task.
So I had the idea to create a universal AI system, an infrastructure to be more precise, that
would allow customers and users all around the globe to access advanced functionalities
delivered through a decentralized network of application specific hardware modules, trained
to deliver reliable and ready-made solutions with access to both, neural networks and machine
knowledge systems.
As shown in the image above, the system has a topological structure at it's core. This is
the domain tree, it encompasses a set of functionalities that can be accessed after a client
request reaches the system server. Based on the client side application, the correct
hardware module is then assigned to the client device, communicating via a common interface.
The following images show a small collection of possible use cases, while there is a vast
number of potential applications in virtually all conceivable domains.
